Dear Students,
The Department of Economics’ Turkish and English undergraduate programs were accepted into the “CFA University Affiliation Program” by the CFA Institute in 2023.
As part of this collaboration, a limited number of our students have been offered scholarship opportunities for the CFA Program. Students planning to enroll in the CFA Program during the 2026–2027 academic year and take the Level I exam may apply for a scholarship by contacting our department’s program coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serçin ŞAHİN, via email (sesahin@yildiz.edu.tr) by the end of business hours on Monday, June 22, 2025.
The email must include the following documents:
1. CV
2. Transcript
3. Statement of Purpose (no more than one page in length and must include the planned date for taking the CFA Level 1 exam)
Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- The average grade from courses* that align with the CFA curriculum (50%),
- Statement of Purpose and resume (25%)
- Past participation in the CFA Research Challenge and performance demonstrated (25%)
Students awarded scholarships will be announced on the department’s website after the application deadline.
We wish all our students the best of luck.
