Dear students,
The Economics Department thesis defense committees will convene on June 24–25. The date and time of each defense, as well as the lists of advisors and committee members, are provided in the attached Excel file.
Students should check with their advisors to find out in which room or hall their thesis defenses will take place. Students must submit their theses to all committee members via email. In cases such as early completion, a student’s absence, or delays, advisors may decide to move the time forward or postpone the defense. Advisors determine the order of student appearances and may change the schedule if deemed necessary. Students must be present outside the designated room at the time indicated in the schedule and remain ready until their turn comes.
The thesis completion form must be filled out based on the defense outcome, signed by the advisor and the jury members, and submitted in person to the department by the advisor.
